Samyukta Hornad helps rebuild a library in Mysuru
Moved by a story about a daily-wage worker Syed Isaaq's library turning into ashes, actress Samyukta Hornad took to her social media page to share the story in an attempt to mobilise books for him. The actress shared a post by Vasant Shetty to get people to help Syed. My heart went out to Syed Isaaq's story on how his small library that housed some 11,000 books turned into ashes post a freak accident. I really loved how he connected with books and how had this deep passion for his library which was set up not just for him but also others, she says. The actress alongside Vasanth Shetty and Prakash Belawadi are helping Syed in his cause. And, recalling the incident, Samyukta felt that it would not be a hard task for mobilise books for Syed. People generally want to help but they don't know how to help and thus, whenever there is an opportunity where help is asked for a social cause, many offer to help, she says. And this was no different. The actress informs that she has already received some 500 books and is waiting for the right time to donate. Soon there will be a place for him to run his library again. I am hoping in two weeks, says Samyukta. Workwise, Samyukta waits for her shoots to begin which are currently stalled because of the lockdown. Source: https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/
